Root

Root is a small mobile robot that is designed to teach children logic and coding skills.

He draws, plays music, lights up and can ride on whiteboards with a metal frame using magnets in his belly.

Coding with Root is a dynamic and creative experience: Root responds to things in the environment, people respond to Root and the interaction is orchestrated with code.

You can program Root to move, rotate, draw, erase, scan colors, play music, light up, feel touches, feel bumps, detect magnetic surfaces, detect light and respond to sensors in your phone or tablet.

Root's app supports coders of all ages and backgrounds.

The interface may look simple, but it is powerful, allowing you to experiment in real time with loops, events and complex robot behavior.

The app has been tested with children of all ages (and adults too) to have the app programmed as smoothly as possible.
