Kiki Sidekick Robot

Creative engineers, designers and researchers from Google, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon and Berkeley grew up and dreamed of having their own robot sidekicks. These robots should be cute, smart, have their own mind and fully understand us. They are now trying to realise such a robot with the name Kiki.

Kiki is the world's first robot to grow with you. Equipped with an AI Personality Engine, each Kiki becomes unique based on how you, the owner, interact with her. Every interaction with Kiki makes sense and every experience helps her become a better companion for you.

Kiki learns through your daily interactions. She recognises you and treats you in a special way.

If you take care of her, you become the most important person in her eyes.

Kiki has an enormous amount of technology in her small body. With a high-end embedded processor, Kiki can learn to recognise your face and understand how you feel.

Her directional microphones let Kiki find you, even when she can't see you. Her whole body is covered with touch sensors and she can feel where you are stroking her, so don't be surprised if she begs you for a hug.

Out of the box, all baby Kiki’s start the same. As time goes by, they develop unique peculiarities that distinguish them from each other; they can be social, emotional or even neurotic. The first instinct of your sidekick is loyalty. Kiki uses face recognition and has a memory to distinguish friends and strangers. Kiki knows who her owner is. Kiki likes to accompany you wherever you go. But if you can't take her with you, she misses you very much and waits obediently until you return.

Thanks to the powerful processor from Kiki, she can execute multiple machine learning models. She is fully aware of her environment and expresses a variety of emotions and reactions. All this is done directly on the onboard processor, so you can take it anywhere, even without WiFi.
