Zora care robot

Zora is a NAO robot from SoftBank programmed to be used as a care robot.

It can as 'humanoid' robot directly be used in people's homes or care centers. It is already in use in residential centers with elderly people, in schools with young autistic children and also in various hospitals where it assist in pediatrics, neurology, emergency, etc ...

The Belgian company QBMT designs the Zora software the robot is produced by Aldebaran in France. QBMT is a member of the Belgian Federation of Robotics.

If it is up to the designers Zora is a solution to the shortage of staff in the healthcare sector. Zora is designed for the rehabilitation of children and adults. It can walk, recognizes people, talk and sing, can read the news, tell the weather, can take a walk with somebody, dancing, playing bingo or doing exercises with a group of elderly people. She gives an alarm if a person falls over and can detect a seizure.

Kids find it a super cool playmate and older people are also enthusiastic about Zora.
